We have the perfect antidote to those occasional sweltering hot days * when it's simply too much of an effort  to do anything at midday, our paddleboard location is a shady, tree lined creek with generally shallow cool water and  complete with sandy beach to launch from... (we can take you up the creek but with a paddle!) .  So to cool off after the sunbathing we can reccommend a little getting wet (optional) as you learn the basics or  fine tune your advanced paddlestrokes.

* This also works in average UK weather !

Half day structured learn to Paddle lesson: = (£55 per person) (reduced rate p.p. for families and groups)  5 persons max.

A two and a half hour fun introduction to paddleboarding . This is a guide to the essential surfboard skills of paddling, board control and safety. Kneeling to begin with then progressing to stand up techniques and a short tour to finish the session.

"Secret River Paddle tours" (Including Wildlife Paddle Tours)= (£55) including tuition and with a chance of seeing:  egrets, (cattle egrets, greater and lesser egrets,) seals, otters, herons, kites, kingfishers  buzzards and Jays and maybe our semi tame Raven). Surface feeding fish such as Seabass and Grey mullet or sea trout jumping. We cannot guarrantee that you will see all or some of these but they are all in the immediate area.

These are usually timed to coincide with a late afternoon /early evening high tide providing a magical calm end to your day.

Our paddleboard sessions are available to our client groups:

1  Adults (over 18)   

 

2. Families with children including temporary household members including at least one adult  taking part in the activity.

N.B. we regret we do not provide this activity for unaccompanied children under 18 from various different families.
